Name: Erik Entrant: Paula Date: Activities: Chinese food in Synopsis: We took the Metro into DC, uncertain
of the exact location of our destinations.
We originally intended to go see one film at Future Datability: 8 Erik is a complete sweetheart, but he’s
a friend, and that can be dangerous ground.
If he wasn’t such a close buddy, he’d definitely get a ten here. Conversation: 8 There were a few too many silent
moments, especially on the trains and at the stations. On a date, I’d like the duller moments
activity-wise to be filled with more
lively conversation. Overall, though,
the conversation was great. Erik and I
have developed a standard pattern of interaction that is fun and up-beat, but
still personal, which is great. Comfort: 8 Oddly for how often we hang out or
talk, some of the quiet times were uncomfortable. Erik professed later to his feeling
awkward, which may have been the source. Fun: 9 Dinner was excellent. The food was better than any Chinese place
around here. The film, a French piece
called Happenstance, was
awesome. It was incredibly funny and
deep. Overall Enjoyment: 7 The fun times were awesome; the food
was good and so was the movie. If it
weren’t for the awkward silences and one piece of uncooked chicken, this date
would get a nine. |
